Taylor French joined French Wealth Management as a paraplanner back in 2021.
Over the next two years, she picked up her General Securities Representative and Investment Advisor Representative licenses. She was building a solid foundation.
But working alongside Michael, she saw firsthand how full-spectrum planning actually changes clients’ lives and mindsets.
She wanted to go deeper. The Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) certification was the natural next step.
In 2024, the College for Financial Planning® selected Taylor as Diversity Scholarship recipient. She spent the next 18 months completing the required coursework, then sat for the six-hour certification exam in March 2026.
In April, it became official.
Taylor French is now a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional. It’s one of the most respected credentials in financial planning, and she earned every bit of it.

The CFP® designation is a fiduciary commitment. That means Taylor is held to a standard that requires her to act in the best interest of the client — on every recommendation, every time.

Taylor’s Story
Taylor is originally from Calgary, Canada. She came to Montana for college and a soccer career, and stayed. She and her husband Wayne now live on their cattle ranch in north-central Montana, raising their two daughters, Cote and Andie.
Her goal goes beyond serving our clients well. She wants to bring financial literacy and real planning access to communities that don’t always have it.
